Alleged unused Super Smash Bros. for 3DS audio mentions ‘8-Player Smash’

Take this one with a grain of salt, but some unused announcer audio files have surfaced supposedly from Smash for 3DS and make mention of some interesting tidbits. The most notable one is an announcer recording of ‘8-player Smash’ among other things. Could this all be unused content? Perhaps a hint at what’s to come on Wii U?
