One upcoming 3DS project went under the radar at the Tokyo Game Show last month. Petit Computer’s entry on Nintendo’s handheld, teased several weeks ago, was unexpectedly playable at the expo. SmileBoom CEO Takaki Kobayashi was showing the title to attendees.

Japanese publication 4Gamer put up a lengthy article covering some of the elements included in the playable demo of Petit Computer 3DS. Here’s a quick summary:

– You can edit until line 999,999
– Circle Pad Pro support
– You can color code words
– You can fold the program display
– You can edit multiple sources (up to 4)
– Painting function with standard equipment
– Enhanced editing features (such as an undo function and multi-line copying)
– Input supports the device’s microphone, camera, sensors, etc
– User work can be managed on the server
– Has a link with the Detune’s application (music software)

River City Ransom: Underground has reached its funding goal on Kickstarter with less than three days remaining. Conatus Creative needed to raise $180,000 CAD in order to secure funding, which was met just a short while ago.

River City Ransom: Underground hasn’t been officially confirmed for Nintendo platforms as of yet. But if the $320,000 stretch goal is met, then the game will most definitely come to the Wii U and 3DS.

You can donate to the River City Ransom: Underground Kickstarter here.

You may know VD-Dev as the team behind C.O.P.: The Recruit. While the game’s reception was mixed, the company pulled off an impressive feat by creating a 3D open world-type environment on the DS.

We haven’t heard much from VD-Dev in recent years, but they’re working on a brand new 3DS eShop game titled “IronFall”. There aren’t a whole lot of details available on the official website, but hopefully we’ll hear more soon.
