Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward suffered from a significant bug when it launched last year. All 3DS retail copies came with an issue that caused save corruption and game crashing.

Aksys finally published Virtue’s Last Reward on the eShop last week. As it turns out, this version comes without the bug. Now the question is: will the retail version finally be patched to address the glitch?

Professor Layton has been Level-5’s most-successful series. The franchise has spawned 15 million copies around the world since the original’s release, the company announced during its “Vision” event in Japan held earlier today.

Level-5 provided sales updates on other IPs, too. Inazuma Eleven has also been access with global sales reaching 6.5 million units. Meanwhile, combined sales of Ni no Kuni on the PlayStation 3 and DS stand at 1.4 million sales worldwide.

There’s also a bit of news about Level-5’s Guild series. The likes of Liberation Maiden, Aero Porter, and Crimson Shroud, have sold 400,000 digital copies in total. Around 50% of the share comes from overseas downloads.

Circle Entertainment has shared new details about its upcoming 3DS eShop game, World Conqueror 3D. You can find the new information below.

– Strategy is “beyond [that of] a board game”
– Each country has advantages like cheaper costs to recruit armies, powerful tanks, unstable infantry, etc.
– Enemies in the countries differ, as do the tax income
– Having a lot of land but a poor country won’t let you easily protect them since you need money to recruit in your defense
– Game uses the mobile title World Conqueror 1945 as its foundation
– Has been redesigned
– Presentation improved for a “more comfortable” look
– Can have a challenging level of difficulty, but taking into account the 3DS’ “many casual gamers”
– Should be out around October in North America/Europe
– Out a month later in Japan
– Pricing not finalized
– Will be set at a “reasonable” cost
– 12 campaigns
– 3 storylines
– Apparently has at least 50 hours of gameplay

Chibi-Robo Photography came out on the Japanese 3DS eShop several weeks ago. There was some concern that the download wouldn’t make it west, but it does indeed look like an overseas launch is planned.

The OFLC has rated “Chibi-Robo! Let’s Go Photo!” – a new name, but definitely the same game. Nintendo hasn’t made an announcement for North America or Europe, but you can rest easy knowing that the eShop release will probably be coming over eventually.
