Switch eShop

FDG Entertainment recently said that a patch would be coming soon for Blossom Tales. That patch has now gone live. If you have the game, it should be updated to version 1.0.1.

The big highlight of today’s update is support for video capture. The team also fixed some bugs, and improved the Spanish translation.

The update clocks in at 28.8 MB. If we hear anything else about the patch, we’ll let you know.

A couple of years ago, The Way released on a few different platforms. The puzzle-platformer was inspired by the likes of Another World, Heart of Darkness, and Flashback.

A listing on the eShop now reveals that The Way is coming to Switch as The Way Remastered. This new version features voice over, graphic improvements, HD Rumble, a music player, and changes based on original player feedback.

The Way Remastered is heading to Switch on April 20. We have more details and a trailer below. 

2Awesome Studio released a new update for Dimension Drive on Switch today, adding in new content and improvements.

In terms of what’s new, online leaderboards and a new ranking system are in. Dimension Drive also now has improved collision warning, improved graphics, better contrast (foreground vs. background), improved performance, and a new logo.

Battery Jam is in the works for Switch, Halseo has confirmed. The game is currently in Steam Early Access, but an eShop date hasn’t been announced at this time.

Battery Jam is primarily a local multiplayer game in which you take down opponents and compete for capturing tiles. For more information and a trailer, continue on below.

Last year, SAT-BOX made Voxel Shot VR. A new version of the game is now being adapted for Switch. According to the eShop, Voxel Shot will be appearing on April 19 (and soon in other regions).

Over on the Japanese eShop, next week’s NeoGeo game for Switch is listed. Hamster will be publishing Gururin on April 12 worldwide.

Gururin first appeared on NeoGeo in 1994. Here’s a brief overview from The International Arcade Museum:

Three people in color-coordinated clothing descend from the top. You must align any three of the same color vertically or horizontally. During the game you do not rotate the three falling people, you rotate the puzzle itself.

ACA NeoGeo Gururin will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Circle Entertainment has shared a final release date for Shelter Generations. In both North America and Europe, the digital collection launches on April 12. You can take advantage of a 10% early bird discount for the first week of release for $17.99 / €17.99 / £16.28.

Shelter Generations includes both Shelter 2 and Paws: A Shelter 2 Game. Additionally, it contains two soundtracks and two “living books”, combining much of special content that was previously only available on PC.
