Pokemon Sword/Shield

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield have both been updated. Version 1.3.1 is available, which addresses some bugs/issues.

Major updates for Pokemon Sword/Shield have likely wrapped up at this point. Version 1.3.0 dropped towards the end of October, and it included support for The Crown Tundra expansion and additional Pokemon.

2021 will mark the 25th anniversary of Pokemon, and news regarding plans for the celebration will be shared in the future. Previously-announced titles include New Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Unite, and a new Detective Pikachu.

Dead Cells - "Malaise Update"

The next major patch for Dead Cells is almost here. Expected on Switch in January 2021 is the “Malaise Update”, which features a color scaling rework, malaise rework, new mutations, a new mob, new weapon,  new outfits, the ability to heal with cheese, backpack rework, Hand of the King lore room, quality of life fixes, and more.

Stardew Valley

The long-awaited 1.5 update for Stardew Valley has just gone live on PC. It’s not available on consoles just yet, but ConcernedApe says that this should be happening in early 2021.

Version 1.5 includes major late-game content, with ConcernedApe stating that the update is “by far the biggest solid chunk of new content that’s been added to the game since launch.”

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 - Pikkon

A new batch of details and screenshots are in for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Today’s update covers the news recently unveiled by V Jump, including Pikkon as a new DLC character.

Bustafellows

This past weekend, we heard that the visual novel Bustafellows will be getting an English release. We now have a bit of additional information about what exactly the plan is.

PQube has come forward with confirmation that it will handle the western version of Bustafellows. Additionally, the title is planned for 2021 in North America and Europe.

Ciel nosurge DX and Ar nosurge DX have been delayed by about a month. Both titles were previously planned for January 28, 2021 in Japan, but will now release on March 4, 2021.

The move ultimately comes down to ensuring the highest-quality product possible. In a statement, producer Akira Tsuchiya apologized for the delay and to those that have been looking forward to Ciel nosurge DX and Ar nosurge DX.

A western release for Ciel nosurge DX and Ar nosurge DX have not yet been announced.

Nintendo is celebrating the 2020 holiday season with some new art featuring Splatoon 2. Get a look at the image above.

As a reminder, Nintendo isn’t quite done with Splatoon 2 yet. A Super Mario-themed Splatfest will be taking place next month.
