Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is bringing back another element from Zelda: Breath of the Wild. As shown during Nintendo Treehouse: Live, players will be able to collect Korok Seeds. Nintendo didn’t go into detail as to how they work in this particular title, but it may have something to do with inventory like Breath of the Wild.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity launches for Switch on November 20.


Today’s Nintendo Treehouse: Live broadcast will be starting soon. As previously mentioned, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and Pikmin 3 Deluxe will be featured.

John Wick Hex

John Wick Hex, which was previously rumored for Switch, is now officially confirmed for the system. An eShop listing reveals that the action-oriented strategy game will arrive on December 4.

We have the following overview for John Wick Hex:

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate version 9.0.0

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is getting its new Minecraft DLC with Steve and Alex next week. On the same day, the game will be receiving a new version 9.0.0 update.

Similar to other major updates, replay data from previous versions of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be incompatible. You can save them now by going to Vault -> Replays -> Replay Data -> Convert to Video.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate version 9.0.0 and the new Minecraft DLC goes live on October 13 in North America and October 14 in Europe.

Overwatch Game Trial

Update: Unsurprisingly, the same offer has been confirmed for Europe, so this is a worldwide promotion. The same dates apply: October 13 to October 20.


Last night, Nintendo announced that Overwatch will be entirely free for a week in Japan, assuming you’re a Switch Online subscriber. The same offer has now been confirmed for North America as well. Between October 13 and October 20, you can access the full version of Overwatch if you’re a member of Switch online.

You’ll be able to transfer any progress made to the full version. There’s no word yet on a sale on the full game like Japan, but it’s definitely possible that a discount will go live next week.

Nintendo has announced the latest Spirit Board event for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This time, spirits with guns and cannons will be featured.

Defeating these spirits will provide you with triple the amount of SP. You’ll also receive the “Shield Spacer” item.

The new Spirit Board event kicks off on October 9. It will last for a total of three days.
