Andro Dunos 2

The side-scrolling space shooter Andro Dunos is coming to Switch, PixelHeart has announced. A release is planned for sometime in Q4 2020.

We have the following overview and trailer for the game:

Ori Collector's Edition

Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps are both getting a physical release as part of a special collector’s edition from iam8bit. However, if you’re not interested in spending $150, there’ll be an alternative option.

iam8bit has confirmed to Nintendo Everything reader StrawHatEevee that regular physical versions of the Ori games are planned. Not only that, but they’re arriving in just a few months – specifically December. There’s no word on pricing yet, but they’ll definitely be cheaper than the $150 collector’s edition.

But they told me in an e-mail that it’s December. Hope this info helps.

Thanks to StrawHatEevee for the tip.

Immortals: Fenyx Rising

IGN has shared a new video for Immortals Fenyx Rising, which gives us a closer look at the open-world action-adventure game. Below, fans can see what the seven different areas have to offer.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars

This week’s UK software sales are as follows:

It seems that Japan is getting another exclusive edition of Monster Hunter Rise for the Switch. This special game package, which roughly translates to “Hunting friend double pack,” features two copies of the game (one digital and one physical) as well as some downloadable content. All of this comes in a sleek box for 15,254 yen or around $145.

It seems the extra content has raised the price, as this double pack is $25 more than what two versions of the game would cost. Roughly translated, what this digital content includes is:

  • Recovery medicine Great x 80
  • Sweetbread trap x 10,
  • Demon dust x 20
  • Hardened dust x 20
  • Life dust x 20
  • Armor ball x 30
  • “Item pack” useful for cooperative play and hunting

Whether or not this is worth it is up to Japanese consumers, as it seems unlikely that this edition will come to the West. It’s specifically marketed towards Switch owners who want to play the game with a friend, so it’s possible that the online play is pretty extensive in the game.

We’ll just have to see when Monster Hunter Rise launches on March 26, 2021.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

An ad in Japan is leading to speculation that the next DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be announced soon. It’ll only be up until October 4, and based on previous patterns, Nintendo may have news to share in the very near future.

A similar situation has occurred with 7-11 ads in Japan. With Hero and Banjo & Kazooie for instance, their ads were set to be removed by a certain date, and their DLC release took place just a few days before they were taken down.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe + Super Mario Party Double Pack

Target has revealed a special Double Pack containing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Party. As the name implies, you’re getting two games for the price of one, and at a bit of discount. The bundle costs $99.99 and you’ll even get a $10 gift card.

Target lists the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe + Super Mario Party Double Pack for release on October 4. Pre-orders are open here.
