It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is still #2 for Nintendo games while Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 and Shin Megami Tensei V are back in the top ten.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between February 13 and February 19.

Bayonetta 3

It seems like PlatinumGames is regularly asked about the status of Bayonetta 3. Each time, the response boils down to the studio saying that things are going well. If you weren’t convinced by the many times this has been relayed by Hideki Kamiya, perhaps the latest comments from executive vice president Atsushi Inaba will put your mind at ease.

At PAX East 2020, Gematsu asked PlatinumGames about Bayonetta 3, and if they can say that there’s nothing to worry about. In response, Inaba said:

Nintendo eShop

Nintendo has updated its upcoming maintenance schedule. There’s actually nothing planned for this week (at least so far), but there’s a bunch of stuff happening the week after.

Here’s the full schedule as things stand now:

New footage of Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time has emerged thanks to a behind the scenes video, which debuted at PAX East 2020. We have it below.

Note that the audio isn’t perfect due to how it was presented, but can still be heard.

Two Point Hospital

Two Point Hospital finally arrived on consoles last week following a previous delay. Interestingly, it’s Switch where the game did best. GamesIndustry reports that Two Point Hospital had 55 percent of its boxed sales on Switch, followed by 34 percent for PS4 and 12 percent for Xbox One.

We should have the full UK software sales within the next day or so. For now, you can find the top ten below.

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD was added to the Switch eShop a little while ago, but as we previously heard, a physical version is in the cards. Amazon has now opened one of the first product listings for the retail edition.

We have the boxart for Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD above. According to the listing, the game will cost $29.99 at retail. You can pre-order on Amazon here.

Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, a new game based on the television show, was announced earlier this week. Adult Swim Games followed that right up with a panel at PAX East 2020 that featured series creator Genndy Tartakovsky and head writer Darrick Bachman.

New information from that panel was revealed, including details on the game’s story. We’ve rounded up the various tidbits below.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers came out in Japan last week where it sold about 160,000 copies. Media Create has the Switch version at 46,415 units and another 115,995 for the PS4 version. According to Dengeki, the game sold through 75 percent of its initial shipment.

Persona 5 Scramble didn’t sell as many copies as Persona 5 Royal – a redone version of Atlus’ RPG – which initially moved 210,000 units. However, given the sell-through rate, it’s off to a strong start.

We’ll also mention that Katana Kami: Way of the Samurai Story sold through 75 percent of its initial shipment as well. Between Switch and PS4, it moved almost 20,000 copies – though the Switch version did a bit worse at 7,392 units.
