Last week, Piranha Plant was added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a new playable character. It can be used in all sorts of game modes and isn’t just limited to regular battles. But soon after the character was made available, reports started to surface that using Piranha Plant in All-Star mode could corrupt save data.

Newsweek has now obtained an official statement, and Nintendo says it “has not been able to confirm that there is an issue”. The full comment reads:

The Walking Dead: The Final Season

Skybound Games has officially confirmed the release date for The Walking Dead: The Final Season – Episode 4. Titled “Take Us Back,” players will be able to experience the latest content on March 26. This will be the final episode of the season and the series overall.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season will have a boxed edition as we previously reported. Fans can purchase this version of the game on March 26 as well.

Mega Man 11

Capcom shared its latest financial results today. For the nine months ended December 31, net sales increased to 61,270 million yen for a 28.3% year-over-year increase. Operating income also saw a 92% boost. Capcom later highlighted that it “achieved the highest profit levels for the end of a third quarter in company history.”

Further on in its report, Capcom spoke about the performance of a few of its games. One of these was Mega Man 11, which had “strong sales”. Onimusha: Warlords, which launched last month, is also “off to a good start”.

The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 launches physically and digitally for Switch tomorrow. Have a look at some early footage in the video below.

Round 6 of the ARMS Party Crash Bash has finished. Ribbon Girl was victorious, beating out Misango 54%-46%.

Ribbon Girl will move on to round 2 of the Party Crash Bash where she will face-off against Ninjara. Remember that Mechanica vs. Master Mummy will battle it out next, and the winner will be facing-off against Dr. Coyle in round 2.
