PlatinumGames has shared new details about the new version of Bayonetta 2 for Switch.

First, local wireless cooperative play is now supported. Tag Climax, which was previously online-only, will make use of the functionality. You’ll now be able to team up with a friend online or offline.

Nintendo has posted an official overview of the new DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Along with a breakdown of the new content, we also have a few screenshots and art. Find the full roundup below.

Update: The full update notes for version 1.4.0 are as follows:

– Added support for DLC Pack 2, “The Champions’ Ballad.” Players who have pre-purchased this content can play it by updating the DLC and software.
– Made various fixes to improve gameplay.


Original: As was promised during The Game Awards, The Champions’ Ballad DLC is out now for Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Before you can play it, you’ll need to download an update. Version 1.4.0 is out now.

Nintendo has yet to make the full patch notes available for tonight’s update. If we hear about anything else outside of The Champions’ Ballad, we’ll let you know.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Another year of The Game Awards is in the books. Coinciding with reveals throughout the show, awards were handed out across a number of different categories.

Two Nintendo games in particular earned a ton of nominations – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey. Both won awards, but Zelda ultimately took home the majority out of the two, including the top “Game of the Year” prize. Other titles also won out including Metroid: Samus Returns as “Best Handheld Game” and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle as “Best Strategy Game”.

Nintendo and PlatinumGames gave Bayonetta a whole lot of love at The Game Awards tonight. Along with Bayonetta 3, the first two titles will also be on the console.

Over in Japan, Nintendo will be releasing the Bayonetta 1 + 2 “Non-Stop Climax Edition” bundle. It includes the games, a steelbook case, 22 art cards, and three sticker sheets.

Pricing for the Bayonetta 1 + 2 “Non-Stop Climax Edition” bundle is set at 9,980 yen.

The newest update for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is here. Version 1.4.435658 is out now.

As we know, the Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle update is highlighted by the inclusion of a new Versus Mode. If we hear about any other changes or additions, we’ll let you know.

Original: Bayonetta 3 is coming exclusively to Switch, Nintendo and PlatinumGames have announced. The two sides made the reveal at The Game Awards 2017.

Of course, those aren’t the only Bayonetta games planned for Switch. Nintendo is also bringing the first two titles in the series to the console in February.
