Two physical versions of Axiom Verge are up for pre-order on Amazon right now, the standard edition and the multiverse edition. Axiom Verge: Multiverse Edition comes with a double-sided poster, soundtrack CD and a “making of” documentary.

The physical game is listed to be released on October 17th.

We haven’t really had a good look at what the Callie and Marie amiibo do in Splatoon 2, until now that is. They seem to have the same functions as all the other Amiibo, plus giving the player some gear. You can check out the video below, by GameXplain, to see how they’ll function in game.



Pure Wish created an adventure game Song of Memories and brought it out in Japan earlier this year as a PlayStation 4 title. That same game is now coming to Switch.

Song of Memories is an adventure game where a mysterious disease is going around. Animation is sprinkled throughout the story, from conversation scenes to event scenes. Over 30 songs are in the game, including the opening, ending, and background music.

Another round of data is in from this month’s NPD report. Along with the best-sellers on Switch and 3DS specifically for the month of June, we also have a list of the games that have sold the best in the U.S. so far this year and over the last twelve months. Continue on below for the full results.

Early data for ARMS indicates that the Switch fighter is off to a solid start thus far. In the latest NPD report, we learned that it was the fifth best-selling game in the United States for the month of June. Additional data is in as well.

GamesBeat heard from Nintendo that ARMS sold 256,000 copies between physical and digital sales. As a new IP on a relatively small install base, that isn’t too shabby.

Nintendo also said that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sold 180,000 copies in June. Zelda: Breath of the Wild tacked on another 145,000 units.

We’ve been wondering how amiibo will function in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Thanks to the game’s official Twitter account, we’ve got an answer.

Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Peach amiibo are supported. When you scan amiibo for any of these characters, you’ll unlock weapons in the game.
