Hogwarts Legacy Quiddich

The official website for Hogwarts Legacy has updated its FAQ page, and one of the big takeaways is that Quidditch won’t be playable.

Although Quidditch isn’t in, the use of brooms is still a big part of the game. Broom flight for traversal and broom race challenges are included, and players can fly brooms to explore new and familiar locations surrounding Hogwarts Castle. There’s even a Flying class in which players can master their broomstick flying skills.

More than three years after Katana Zero revealed plans for DLC, developer Askiisoft has finally provided a first video look. Today’s footage shows a small slice of the first level.

Katana Zero released on Switch in 2019 and Askiisoft has been tinkering away on the DLC since then. Towards the start of 2020, the developer said the scope had expanded and was three times as big as originally planned. Splatoon 3 Salmon Run

The Salmon Run mode in Splatoon 3 will be available at all days and all times, Nintendo has confirmed.

This is noteworthy as things were handled differently in Splatoon 2. With that game, Salmon Run was restricted since it couldn’t always be played online. In fact, it wasn’t actually playable every day. Nintendo confirming that Salmon Run will always be open in Splatoon 3 is therefore a pretty big deal.

Original (9/1): PQube has already been under fire after A Space for the Unbound publisher Toge Productions and developer Mojiken accused the company of “predatory practices”. Corecell Technology, the studio behind the AeternoBlade series, has now joined the fray as well.

In a statement, Corecell said PQube hasn’t provided full payment that was owed relating to a minimum guarantee and never paid for remaining milestones. Although the two sides terminated a publishing agreement, “PQube has refused to return the publishing control on the console platforms back to us and continues to sell and take all revenues from AeternoBlade II.” Nintendo has taken the game off of the Switch eShop in Europe, though Corecell hasn’t received any revenue from that region.
