F-Zero X debuted on the European Wii U Virtual Console last month, but it did so with several issues. Specifically, players encountered problems with the controls. Because of a “deadzone”, moving your vehicle around wasn’t the easiest task.

Nintendo must have heard about the complaints as an update has now been issued. After applying the patch, players have noted that the controls are improved significantly. It may not stand up completely to the original F-Zero X, but navigating around tracks should feel significantly better.

Nintendo brought The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask to the North American Wii U Virtual Console last week. But the normal discount for original Wii owners, which would have brought it down to $2, had not been applied.

We now have good news to report regarding the situation. Nintendo has fixed the issue, meaning those who previously purchased Majora’s Mask on Wii and transferred over to Wii U will now see the proper discount on the eShop. Thankfully it was taken care of in a shorter time than initially anticipated.

Thanks to TruExtent for the tip.

More:

Several new games out came out this week on the Wii U and 3DS eShops. If you’re interested in checking out what’s new in screenshot form, take a look at the gallery below.

A few days ago, we heard from The Game Awards 2016 host Geoff Keighley that a special sale was planned for the event. Unfortunately though, there’s nothing new.

Nintendo’s website now shows The Game Awards “sale”. However, as you’ll quickly notice, it’s just piggybacking off of the new Cyber Deals that began last month. A bit disappointing to say the least!
