This is basically a bug fix, but it’s nice to see Nintendo tending to the Miiverse platform…

Kung-Fu Rabbit will launch on the European Wii U eShop on April 18, Neko Entertainment has announced. Pricing is set at €4.99.

A specific North American date hasn’t been provided just yet. It is, however, expected in early May.

Bloom: Memories has a strong shot of landing on the Wii U eShop. Indie developer Studio Fawn certainly has interest, and a release would likely happen after the initial launch for PC and Mac.

According to Studio Fawn’s Dani Landers:

“We definitely plan on a Wii U version after the initial release (since we are such a tiny team, doing a simultaneous release across all of our planned platforms is difficult). This also gives us a little extra time to implement some Wii U specific controls and test to take full-advantage of what the system has to offer.”

If you’d like to see Bloom: Memories happen, perhaps you’ll consider a small donation on the official Kickstarter page. Studio Fawn would like to raise $50,000. At this time, only $20,000 has been collected with eight days remaining.

Update: Having just seen the Spanish press release, this does appear to be the real deal.

So this is rather odd. Runner2 is supposedly due out on the European Wii U eShop this Thursday, despite the fact that it wasn’t mentioned in the weekly Nintendo Download press release.

The news comes from Revogamers, who says that Nintendo and Gaijin Games are launching the title in celebration of iDÉAME. It could be coming, but we won’t know for sure until Thursday. If we don’t see it this week, perhaps it’ll hit the European eShop next Thursday.

Radical Fish Games’ 2D action-RPG Cross-Code could make its way to the Wii U eShop. The indie dev is making the game for PC through HTML5, which, with the arrival of Nintendo Web Framework and other tools, is now a possibility for the system.

For now, Radical Fish Games is focusing on completing Cross-Code for PC. The team does have some interest in bringing the title to the Wii U, so it’s something that can be considered once the main game wraps up development.
