Reddit user miasmadelta has now come forward with images supposedly showing off the game. They at least back up what we heard earlier about the main character. miasmadelta also says that the summoning aspect isn’t a huge part of the game and says it’s not set in modern day.

Emily Rogers, who is known for sharing Nintendo rumors, made a new post on gaming forum Famiboards yesterday regarding supposed details for a new Fire Emblem game on Switch.

The juiciest tidbit is that the title has apparently been finished for over a year. While it was originally planned to celebrate the series’ 30th anniversary, Nintendo ended up holding on to the game for a later date.

Before that recent delay took place, rumored details about the film supposedly leaked online. The information is a bit dubious, but GamesBeat’s Jeff Grubb, who has a history with leaking news pertaining to games, seems to think that it could be legitimate and may have come about from audience testing.

Unfortunately, WTT doesn’t elaborate on any of the details. It’s also unclear when the launch would be happening, though there is a tentative August 31, 2022 date on the site.
