Collapsed announced for Switch release, gameplay trailer

Glaive Games and OverGamez have announced that their roguelike platformer, Collapsed, is coming to Switch later this month. Check out an overview and gameplay trailer below.
Collapsed is a roguelike platformer set in a post-apocalyptic world.
Innumerable hordes of bloodthirsty aliens have crossed the borders of our Solar System, intent upon enslaving all sentient life in the universe. Capturing planet after planet, the aliens make their way to Earth, where they face stiff resistance: Earthlings have learned how to fight back against the invaders and have created a powerful weapon. You play as one of four Hunters (each with their own set of abilities, skills and combat style) and work to annihilate the extraterrestrials who’ve landed on the planet. Clear numerous unique locations with procedurally generated levels, hordes of dangerous enemies, and deadly traps. Combat in heated battles will test your skills and reaction time.
Key Features:
– Play as one of four hero classes, each with their own set of abilities, skills, and combat style.
– A vast skill tree offers you even more ways to customize your character. The skill tree is shared between all classes.
– Create and combine over 100 different pieces of equipment, that help your character complete their mission more efficiently. The inventory storage is shared between all classes.
– If you character dies, the loot and skills you’ve accumulated aren’t lost, but you must start over. Levels are randomly generated, so don’t worry — it won’t feel like Groundhog Day.

So what happened to the world? Why was everything destroyed? At first, these questions are left unanswered — but as you complete levels and the game grows more challenging, the history of the world begins to be revealed. You can also come across snatches of the backstory in memory clusters which are randomly scattered throughout the universe. These contain notes, diaries and other interesting recordings which shed light on the events that took place in certain locations.

Characters:
Reaper: a universal fighter, nothing to see here… except the ability to take out enemies from behind in close combat, aided by a massive scythe. Your average middle-of-the-road class, a good choice for beginners.
Devourer: a sniper with a powerful long-range rifle and a deep bag of tricks used to keep enemies at a distance — things like traps or spears that simultaneously pierce multiple enemies, dealing extra damage at short range.
Warrior: the toughest class, able to hack through waves of enemies and withstand huge amounts of damage. The Warrior has one major downside: he isn’t effective at long range, as he lacks the necessary weapons.
Pest: an insane scientist that wins thanks to speedy close-range attacks and a rifle that inflicts various negative effects on enemies at up to medium range.
