Nintendo and Cygames have announced a new 2.4.0 update for the mobile game Dragalia Lost. It will include improvements to the Skill Details Screen and Tutorial Summon, addition of a favorites system for Wyrmprints, and more.

Below are the full details:

When you update to version 2.4.0 and play co-op, you will no longer be matched with players using earlier versions of the game. Rooms created by players playing earlier versions will not display in the Room List, and you will not be able to join them using Find a Room, Join Nearby Players, Enter an ID, or alliance chat.

To celebrate the update, we’ll be sending all players a Tenfold Summon Voucher after the automatic update. This notice will be modified after it has been distributed.
Note: The Tenfold Summon Voucher will not be distributed until after the automatic update, even if you complete the update to version 2.4.0 early.

■Update Details
▼Improvements to the Skill Details Screen
The skill details screen for adventurers and dragons will be updated to provide further information on each of their skills, including numerical values for damage inflicted, HP restored, hits generated, and more (where applicable).

The skill details screen for existing adventurers and dragons (excluding Gala versions) will be updated over time, while the screens for those who are added to the game in Version 2.4.0 and beyond will include this information upon their release.

▼Addition of Favorites System for Wyrmprints
To help players better organize and manage their collection of wyrmprints, a particular wyrmprint can be added to or removed from a list of favorites by tapping the star icon on its details screen. Wyrmprints added as favorites will be displayed first when sorting with the Prioritize Favorites box checked on the Sort screen.

▼Improvements to the Tutorial Summon
After a new player finishes the prologue, they will be able to perform 50 summons (five tenfold summons) for free while the game downloads any remaining required data.

Once the player has performed all 50 summons, they will be given the choice of accepting the results or starting the process over again from the first tenfold summon. Players may retry this process as many times as they like until they are satisfied with their 50 summons. (Players will only receive the 50 adventurers and dragons that are included in the results that they accepted, even if they summoned a total of more than 50.)

Players who began playing the game after the release of Version 2.4.0, or players who, after updating to Version 2.4.0, have yet to complete the free post-prologue tutorial tenfold summon that guarantees one 4★ or higher adventurer or dragon and the summon that grants the choice of one 5★ adventurer from a certain selection of them, are eligible to perform this summon.

At least one 4★ or higher adventurer or dragon is guaranteed to appear for every 10 summons, but the 5★ appearance rate will not increase on a subsequent tenfold summon if a player fails to summon a 5★ from the current tenfold summon. Players will not obtain eldwater for duplicate adventurers, and the summon animations for this tutorial summon differ from those of previous summon showcases. Information regarding appearance rates may be found on the summon details screen.

With the implementation of the improved tutorial summon, the existing free post-prologue tutorial tenfold summon that guarantees one 4★ or higher adventurer or dragon and the summon that grants the choice of one 5★ adventurer from a certain selection of them will be removed.

■Other Changes
・The user interface will be adjusted in various places.■Issues To Be Addressed
・When the adventurer Halloween Akasha is used in a dragon battle, her Bleeding = HP Recovery I/II abilities do not restore her HP when activated.
・When playing with the auto-play feature enabled, the adventurer Yurius will sometimes become unable to move when attacked under certain conditions.

Dragalia Lost version 2.4.0 will begin to go live on January 25 at 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET.
