Fishing Paradiso coming to Switch in early 2022

Following a previous appearance on mobile, developer Odencat has announced that the angling RPG Fishing Paradiso will be appearing on Switch. The game will be available in early 2022.
Fishing Paradiso has a simple premise, as you’ll just “kick back, catch some fish, and level up your gear as you fulfill requests and advance the story at your own pace.” You follow the protagonist who awakens one day in Heaven where he finds strange and wondrous varieties of fish to collect as well as recently deceased souls to befriend. Odencat also made Bear’s Restaurant, and it sounds like faces from that title will be popping up here.
Fishing Paradiso has a “skyPhone” that lets you warp between different fishing spots, upgrade your fishing rod, review your collection, and keep in touch with denizens of the afterlife. The game also has scenes and side-stories to unlock and a private cabana that can be customized with furniture.
It’s worth noting that Fishing Paradiso will have full widescreen display, controller support and new music. There’s also been a tease of an “all-new exciting feature”, though details are being kept under wraps for the time being.
