Hulu working with Nintendo to add support for touch controls in the Switch app

If you’re interested in watching video content on Switch, you don’t have a whole lot of options at present. But there is Hulu, as the app started distribution last November.
As part of a new Reddit AMA, SVP of Experience at Hulu Ben Smith commented on bringing the service to Switch. One interesting point mentioned is that the company is looking into adding touch support, which is something users have requested.
Smith stated:
“Nintendo was great to work with, giving us early access to hardware and developer documentation that enabled us to be the first video app on Switch. I use it all the time. Biggest feedback that we’ve gotten and that I feel as a regular user is that it would be better if it supported touch. We are currently working with Nintendo on this.”
