Speculation about Nintendo bringing out a SNES Mini emerged last week. The Wall Street Journal reporter Takashi Mochizuki was able to ask president Tatsumi Kimishima about the rumor at the company’s financial results briefing today, though unsurprisingly, he didn’t say much. Kimishima simply said that he has nothing to talk about now. Source
