Mario Kart 8 Deluxe update out now (version 2.2.0), new DLC live

Original: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has just received a new update, and the game is now at version 2.2.0. Nintendo has yet to share the patch notes, but we’ll share them when available.
The highlight for today is the previously-announced third wave of tracks for the game’s Booster Course Pass. Two cups have been added with four tracks each. The Rock Cup contains London Loop (Tour), Boo Lake (GBA), Rock Rock Mountain (3DS), and Maple Treeway (Wii) while the Moon Cup is comprised of Berlin Byways (Tour), Peach Gardens (DS), Merry Mountain (Tour), and Rainbow Road (3DS).

All players can download the new version 2.2.0 update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe now. The Booster Course Pass is available to those who have a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription, though it can also be purchased separately for $24.99.
