Metallic Child arrives digitally on the Switch eShop tomorrow, and a day one update has already been made available for players who pre-purchased the title. In addition, Studio HQ has offered patch notes for updates coming to the title in the future. Here’s what’s changing according to translations by Perfectly Nintendo:

For the launch update, version 1.1.0:

  • Various balance adjustments
  • Added the Custom , SE:A, and the custom weapon, Megaphone

The next two updates are pending approval, but Studio HQ has already released patch notes. For version 1.2.0:

This update fixes the following issues:

  • An issue in which items can drop outside of the battlefield
  • An issue in which Rona can run out of the battlefield (workaround: Save by returning to the title, select CONTINUE, followed by RESUME, to restart from the same level.)
  • An issue in which Rona becomes uncontrollable after unboarding a Powerbot (workaround: Refrain from changing weapons while boarding a Powerbot.)
  • An issue in which the frame rate drops during the boss battle

And lastly, update version 1.2.1:

This update fixes the following issues:

  • An issue with the controller mapping settings (workaround: First, reset the controller mapping and play without changing any mapping settings.)

Release dates for these two future updates have not yet been announced.
