Midnight Fight Express delayed on Switch, animated launch trailer

Original: Midnight Fight Express is almost ready to go, and the title has received a launch trailer to celebrate its release. Rather than focusing on gameplay though, the video is animated.

An unexpected hero emerges on the city’s darkest night.
You’re Babyface, a former member of the criminal underworld lured back into “the life” by a mysterious AI drone. Your mission against impossible odds: Fight your way across the city before sunrise, and prevent a citywide criminal takeover together.
Engage in a brutal and hyper-kinetic brawling ballet, using every environmental tool and street fighting technique at your disposal. Level up your abilities to take down the mounting onslaught of bozos, cronies, and crime lords.

Midnight Fight Express launches for Switch tomorrow, August 23.
Update: Unfortunately, at the last minute, the game has now been delayed on Switch by “a few weeks” on Switch and is now planned for late September. Read the statement about what happened below.
At the last minute, we ran into an unexpected problem that would require our patch sizes to be larger than what we feel is reasonable for players on a handheld console. We want all players to enjoy potential future fixes and patches in a timely manner and in sync with other platforms. We know this, unfortunately, leads to Switch players having to initially wait, but we ultimately want to ensure the best experience possible for all our players.
