New details uncovered about Pokemon GO to Pokemon Home transfers

Pokemon Home will soon be receiving the ability to have creatures transferred from Pokemon GO. Thanks to a recent datamine, we now have additional information about compatibility and how the process works.
Here’s the full roundup:
– You will need an amount of energy to transfer
– This amount may vary by Pokemon
– Energy auto refills after a while
– Waiting timer is measured in days and hours
– You can wait or buy energy from the shop
– Mega Pokemon apparently can’t be transferred
– Shadow Pokemon can’t be transferred
– Not clear from the datamine, but looks like costume Pokemon can be transferred but will lose their forms.
The Pokemon Company hasn’t provided a specific release window for the new Pokemon Home functionality. However, it’s confirmed to be going live before the end of 2020. With just a couple of months remaining in the year, the wait shouldn’t be too much longer.
