Nintendo Switch Sports Mii CPUs offline

A couple of additional elements about the new 1.2.0 update for Nintendo Switch Sports have been revealed, as new collections have been datamined and it’s been discovered that Mii CPUs have been added to offline modes.

Players are able to earn points after matches when playing online. With every 100 points, they can redeem them for an item from a themed collection of their choosing. Items can include hair styles, headgear, and more. Collections rotate every week.

New collections will be made available in the future as discovered by the datamine. Nintendo just added in 13 sets, though we don’t have specific dates.

Here’s the full lineup of what’s been found as shared by Reddit user Felipe_MA_:

– Soccer-Ball Collection
– Punk Collection
– Chambara Collection
– Cyber Collection
– Lollipop Collection
– Street Collection
– Badminton Collection
– Cafe Collection
– Astro Collection
– Football & Cheerleader Collection
– Angel & Demon Collection
– Horror Collection
– Halloween Collection

As for the Mii CPUs to use for offline play, Twitter user OatmealDome notes that you can make them appear by holding down L + ZL or R + ZR while selecting a difficulty. Once that happens, a sound will play and a Mii CPU will assigned as your opponent.

Nintendo Switch Sports is now available. You can check out the official patch notes for the 1.2.0 update here.
