To celebrate the release of Dragon Quest X for Wii U in March, Nintendo has teamed up with Square Enix for a limited edition pre-paid card. Aside from the pretty artwork, there isn’t much different about the card. You’ll pay 3,000 yen for use on Nintendo’s online shops.

Update: Bumped to the front page with The Flash images.

NetherRealm Studios has released a few images showing off Harley Quinn and Bane’s regular and “Alternate Earth” costumes. A pair of screenshots and concept art can be found above.

Some may think of Resident Evil: Revelations’ console release as a port, but there is a healthy amount of new content in the game. Users will be able to play as Hunk in Raid mode (which also has new weapons), take on a new enemy type, and experience a tougher difficulty level.

Capcom has also touched up the game’s visuals significantly. Resident Evil: Revelations Tsukasa Takenaka told Joystiq:

“The models have been almost completely redone, the lighting filters, those kind of effects that consoles can do, has been redone from scratch and it’s definitely something where we’ve made the game into something that’s a whole new version for consoles.”

In a video posted to the official Rayman Facebook page, Rayman Legends creative director Michel Ancel and senior game manager Michael Micholic showed appreciation for fans’ support resulting from Ubisoft’s decision to push the game back on Wii U. Micholic said that it “definitely hurt us to see you guys so upset about the delay.”

Ubisoft previously said that it would be making an exclusive Legends demo available to Wii U owners. This won’t actually be happening. Instead, Ancel and Micholic confirmed that the company will release Rayman Legends’ full online challenge mode exclusively on Nintendo’s console, via the eShop.

Here’s the rundown of the download:

– Online challenge mode will be accessible through the main hub
– New challenges daily and weekly, each with their own leaderboards
– Challenges in 5 different settings with unique gameplay styles
– Deadly pit, land of the dead, infernal tower, dojo, dungeon
– Dungeon challenge created exclusively for Wii U
– All challenges can be played alone or up to 5 players
– Invite friends, filter the competition
– Each result recorded on the leaderboard and as a ghost
– History system saves all performances, trophies earned

The Rayman Legends online challenge mode will be hitting the Wii U eShop in early April as a free download. Micholic said it will be “playable for countless hours”.

Update 2: Amazon has a pre-order page up as well. You can reserve the game here.

Update: Best Buy has a product listing up for a Wii U version of Watch Dogs as well. You can access it here.

More evidence suggests that Watch Dogs will be coming to Wii U.

GameStop is currently listing the title for Nintendo’s console. In fact, consumers can pre-order the supposed Wii U version right now.

Watch Dogs promotional material leaked out last week, which said that the title will be available on “all home consoles” this holiday. While we would hope that the Wii U is included in those plans, Ubisoft has not officially confirmed the platform for release.

German developer Bumblebee launched a Kickstarter for a new turn-based RPG, Days of Dawn, late last month. PC, Mac, and Linux were the game’s only confirmed platforms, but the indie team announced last Friday that it has become a Wii U developer. Bumblebee said that a Wii U version “is now within reach” and it would be “a dream platform for the game.”

Days of Dawn only has until mid-Sunday to reach its $50,000 goal. Currently, the total stands at $27,392. It’ll be tough to raise another $23,000 (give or take) in less than a week, but it’d certainly be nice to see another indie effort on Wii U.

You can find more information about Days of Dawn here.

Toki Tori 2 used to be a 1080p game. It’s now presented in 720p, but the slight downgrade in resolution will be worth it. Developer Two Tribes confirmed on Twitter today that Toki Tori 2 will now run at 60 frames-per-second as opposed to 30.
