TopWare Interactive has announced “Sacrilegium”, a new Wii U/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360/PC game from Two Worlds developer Reality Pump. It’s a survival horror game that makes use of the GRACE 2 engine.

Sacrilegium stars a 20 year-old female named Alex who uses her martial arts skills, “knowledge and heart to survive and to save her soul from certain corruption.” Players can expect quick-time events, cinematic combat, and “ultra-realistic motion capture”.

You can find a bunch of details about the game after the break.

Bit Boy!! Arcade will be available on the eShop soon.

Katsuya Eguchi has fielded a number of questions about the Wii U in a new interview. Eguchi was asked about the Virtual Console for Wii U, resolution of games, and framerates.

We’ll mention a few things here right off the bat: Nintendo would like to avoid selling Wii U at a loss, VC games may run on the GamePad screen, Nintendo may consider 1080p resolution for their games, and almost all of Nintendo Land’s attractions run at 60 frames-per-second.

You can Eguchi’s quotes about these topics and more after the break.

Even though there was speculation that Nintendo would be introducing a new 3DS at E3 2012, it never happened. A rumor from Nikkei suggested a model with a larger top screen would be unveiled.

Despite the fact that no such announcement was made, Nintendo does seem to have some interest in a larger 3DS screen.

Hideki Konno, who played a large role in the development of 3DS, told Joystiq that he greatly appreciates the DS XL’s larger screen as it makes things easier to see.

That’s not a confirmation of a 3DS XL, but Konno’s response to the possibility is rather interesting. Maybe we’ll see a 3DS XL some day…

Bravely Default details

Posted 11 years ago by in 3DS, News | 0 comments

In addition to sharing news regarding Bravely Default’s third demo, Jump has detailed a new character in the game known as Lee Edea. Lee is fifteen years-old, was brought up in a difficult household, and is all about justice. As she takes on a mission for the Eternia army, Lee encounters Anies, and even though she was given the task to apprehend Anies, Lee ends up providing support.

Jump’s report also contains some new gameplay details. Lee is able to change her job – which does in fact change abilities – as is the case with the other characters. A second system is introduced in the magazine involving the use of turns.

The news was shared by Japanese magazine Jump. A new scan can be found here.

Jump didn’t say when exactly the demo will be available, but it should be very soon. It comes with an AR movie as well as a sampling of Bravely Default’s battle system and job change system.
