Every bit of direct-feed Ocarina of Time 3D footage is always nice. This time around, Nintendo demonstrates the gyroscope controls in the game – it’s towards the end of the video.

This information comes from Group Manager of Marvelous Entertainment, Tomio Kanazawa…

“It’s not Muramasa, but I’m working on a 3DS title that has really incredible 2D visuals while taking full advantage of the 3DS’ capabilities.”

Anything that is remotely similar to Muramasa: The Demon Blade is okay with me! I’m really interested to see what this title looks like. I have a feeling it’s going to be quite impressive.

If you’re interested in direct-feed footage of Ocarina of Time 3D, you can check out a video with a bit of slingshot action with the gyroscope here. So far, Nintendo has only provided demo levels of Kokiri village and the first dungeon. The game is due out in June, though, so we should be seeing more areas soon.

UBISOFT ANNOUNCES CUBIC NINJA™ FOR THE NINTENDO 3DS™ SYSTEM

What: Cubic Ninja™

Platform: Nintendo 3DS™ system

When: Summer 2011

Details: Ubisoft is happy to announce Cubic Ninja™, the Nintendo 3DS™ title that lets you play without ever touching a button. Simply tilt and turn your Nintendo 3DS to solve challenging puzzles, outwit devious enemies and escape intricate traps.

Update: Other 3DS users have said that the icons will spin faster if you blow into the microphone. So with the case below, the cartridge graphic might be spinning at different speeds as it reacts to the volume level of the music. Pretty interesting…

A 3DS owner has found a small, but neat easter egg on the system’s home menu. It seems that the handheld can “listen” to incoming noise, as demonstrated in the video above. While the music continues to play, the Pokemon Black/White game cartridge graphic dances along to the beat. You can try it for yourself when the 3DS launches in less than two weeks.
