Nintendo has started to update its maintenance schedule for the coming week. Fortunately, only one session is planned thus far, and it should be over after tonight.

Here’s a look at the schedule as of now:

Nintendo published an interview this week with Toby Fox. Fox, who created Undertale, answered a few questions about his latest project Deltarune. He spoke about its origins, gave an update (sort of) for the second chapter and beyond, plus more.

We’ve transcribed the full interview below. Note that it contains some potential spoiler-related information for Deltarune Chapter 1.

Spanish developer Xaloc Studios has announced that the fantasy-football game Super Kickers League is planned for Switch. It will be appearing on the eShop “soon.”

Here’s an overview:

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has been revealed, which was painted by ArtPlay’s Mana Ikeda. Get a look at the packaging image above.

Rune Factory may not be the biggest franchise around, but fans have been clamoring for its return. It’s been several years since the series’ last entry, Rune Factory 4. As we found out in this week’s Nintendo Direct, Rune Factory is coming back in a big way starting this year.

Rune Factory 4 Special kicks things off for 2019. The Switch version of the 3DS title drops later this year in the west, but Japan has a confirmed release date of July 25.

Rune Factory 5 was also announced in this week’s Nintendo Direct. Unfortunately, almost no information has been said about the game thus far. The Nintendo Direct didn’t mention it, but we do actually know that it’s due out sometime in 2020. A teaser site can be found here.

Earlier in the week, Game Informer senior editor Imran Khan stopped by the Kinda Funny Games Daily show. Khan ended up sharing what sounds like a pretty interesting rumor regarding Nintendo reviving a “dead and buried” game.

He stated:

Months after waiting for the next general Nintendo Direct, Nintendo finally delivered this week. A bunch of announcements were made throughout the 35-minute presentation both big and small.

As far as entirely new stuff goes, the Nintendo Direct started with the reveal of Super Mario Maker 2. The show ended with a bang as well thanks to the announcement of the Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake on Switch. That was far from all, as we also found out about the brand new PlatinumGames title Astral Chain. Other announcements included BoxBoy! + BoxGirl!, Tetris 99, Oninaki, Dragon Quest XI S’ official localization and release window, Rune Factory 4 Refine and Rune Factory 5, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Assassin’s Creed III Remastered, Unravel Two, and more.

Now that we’re a few days removed from the Nintendo Direct, how are you feeling about the presentation? Were you happy with what was shown, or were you left feeling disappointed? Do you have any personal highlights? Let us know in the comments below.

Here’s an introduction to the rogue-like RPG, which takes place in an apocalyptic survival setting:
