The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time came to the Wii U Virtual Console a few days back. You can now watch some footage of the eShop release below.

A few days ago, Inti Creates CEO Takuya Aizu posted a photo of Mighty No. 9 running on the GamePad via his Twitter account. You can get a look at it above.

Aizu wrote the following in his message:

It’s good that all console versions of Mighty No. 9 are happening! The [making of] the Wii U version was harsh due to specs, but people who were responsible for porting really did their best, so it will be finished nicely!

Mighty No. 9 launches for Wii U in mid-September. A 3DS version is also in development, but will be released a bit later.

In an interview with Wired, PlatinumGames’ Yusuke Hashimoto spoke about what it’s like working with Nintendo in creating Star Fox Zero. On a similar note, Nintendo’s Yugo Hayashi commented on how it can be working with legendary designer Shigeru Miyamoto.

Here’s what the two shared:

“This is the first time I’ve ever done this kind of collaborative design. It’s not just with Mr. Miyamoto, but also with Mr. Hayashi here. I’m struck by how fast this goes. The turnaround between the exchange of the two parties is very quick. It’s a kind of development speed I haven’t really seen before.” – Hashimoto

“The three of us are always working together and it’s very fun, but obviously when Mr. Miyamoto shows you something and is like, what do you think of this, and you have to come up with a good answer, it’s very nerve-wracking.” – Hayashi

Update: Bumped to the top. The results are in for Europe, and rock was victorious over pop.

Splatoon’s first North American Splatfest is finished. How did the results pan out?

While cats took home 51 percent of the wins, dogs ultimately came out victorious. That’s because of the dogs’ popularity (62 percent versus only 38 percent for cats).

The final tally ended up with dogs taking in 160 points compared to the cats side of 140 points.
