Pokemon GO announces special Bulbasaur Community Day Classic

Niantic has announced a special Community Day Classic for Pokemon GO that will feature Bulbasaur. This is being held during the Season of Heritage.
During the event, you’ll have a higher chance of encountering Bulbsaur. And if you’re lucky enough, you may encounter a Shiny version. Those that evolve Ivysaur (Bulbasaur’s Evolution) during the Community Day or up to two hours afterward will receive a Venusaur that knows the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant.
Per usual, some event bonuses are planned. Players can expect 3x catch XP, incense activated during the event will last for three hours, Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours, any a surprise will be given out to those that take a few snapshots.
Niantic is also planning on making a special one-time-purchase Community Day Box available for 1,280 PokeCoins, featuring 50 Ultra Balls, five Lucky Eggs, five Star Pieces, and an Elite Charged TM. Additionally, you can nab 30 Ultra Balls in the shop at no cost.
The new Pokemon GO Community Day Classic event with Bulbasaur will take place on Saturday, January 22, 2022 between 2 PM and 5 PM local time. More information can be found on Niantic’s blog here.
