Pokemon GO news: August 2018 Community Day, Lugia’s return, new Alolan / Shiny Pokemon

We have several news updates on the Pokemon GO front.
First up, the next Community Day has been confirmed. Eevee will be featured for August 2018 – specifically August 11 and August 12. Eevee will appear in the wild more frequently for three hours each day.
Lugia is set to return in Raid Battles starting this weekend. The Pokemon will be taking over for Regice until July 15.
Lastly, three new Alolan Pokemon are starting to appear. Be on the lookout for Alolan Diglett and Alolan Geodude plus Shiny Plusle and Shiny Minun. They are already showing up in Asia, and will be live on Saturday in North America / Europe.
