Pokemon Sword and Shield hosting Sudowoodo Max Raid Battle event

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield have just started up a new Max Raid Battle that’s all about Sudowoodo.
Whereas past events have often focused on a particular gimmick like a theme based around Fossil Pokemon, this one’s pretty straightforward. Sudowoodo will be appearing more often, and if you’re lucky enough, you may encounter a Shiny version.
Those that want to participate in the new Max Raid Battle event featuring Sudowoodo will first need to connect their Switch system to the internet. Once a pillar of light begins to appear from a Pokemon Den in the Wild Area, simply walk up to it and interact to have a Max Raid Battle begin.
Note that this event will be running for a limited time. Players only have until April 1, 2022 at 4:59 PM PT / 7:59 PM ET to get involved. A new Max Raid Battle event will presumably be announced not too long after, and we’ll let you know when we have the details.
