Rare reaffirms that Donkey Kong 64 belongs to Nintendo

“What’s with all the ‘let Nintendo put DK64 on Virtual Console’ emails over the weekend? It already belongs to Nintendo, you crazy kids.”
Was there ever really a question that Donkey Kong 64 wasn’t a Nintendo-owed title? One of the main reasons we haven’t seen it on the Virtual Console is mainly because the Big N hasn’t been supporting the service lately, and hasn’t supported the Nintendo 64 in general. It’s a bit depressing to know that since the Wii was launched, less than 20 N64 titles have been made available on the Wii Shop Channel.
