Re:TAKE, fantasy 2D side scrolling combat game, coming to Switch

KU Games has confirmed that its upcoming title Re:TAKE is in the works for Switch. The project, a fantasy 2D side scrolling combat title, is planned for release later in 2023.
The premise behind Re:TAKE is that a kingdom has been attacked by a horde of skeletons and a black dragon with a mysterious flying object. Some sort of being emerges from it, and the people label it as the “Demon King”. The whole game is about going up against this particular foe.
The game involves upgrading characters, gathering rare items to unlock special skills and spells, obtaining monsters as pets (which level up over the course of battle and become powerful partners), and joining friends to defeat hordes of enemies and numerous giant bosses such as colossal skeletons, giant dragons, and huge sharks. There are various stages on land, air, and sea. Additionally, players can choose from ten characters with different skills and types. Offline co-op is supported for up to four people.
