Nintendo appears to be cooking up a couple of special Mario amiibo. “Children’s Product Certificates” for gold and silver figures have been spotted on the company’s website. That would make this official, though we haven’t heard anything out of Nintendo – so we’ll mark this a rumor for now. Source
