Rumor: Nintendo has ceased production of DS cartridges worldwide

According to a tweet from Canadian retailer Video Games Plus, Nintendo has ceased production of DS cartridges. The retailer does promise its own set of exclusive restocks for the near future, however.
Video Games Plus sent out the following message a little while ago:
Bad News: Nintendo has discontinued production of DS carts worldwide Good News: VGP has a bunch of EXCLUSIVE DS GAME restocks coming in soon

Nintendo has not officially confirmed that it has stopped production of DS carts worldwide. But given the fact that Video Games Plus is a retailer, they could very well have this sort of information as its disposal.
