Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD has a special secret character

SEGA will be including a special character in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD, Xbox One achievements for the game have been revealed. We’ll be calling out this roster addition by name, so keep that in mind before continuing further if you’re looking to avoid spoilers.
A couple of achievements mention Sonic the Hedgehog, including one in which players are tasked with clearing a stage as the character. SEGA has thus far not officially announced Sonic for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD, and no screenshots have been published online.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD launches for Switch on October 29. Even if SEGA attempts to keep Sonic’s inclusion quiet, we won’t have to wait long until we get to see how he appears in-game.
