PGA Tour 2K21

2K and HB Studios today revealed PGA Tour 2K21, an officially licensed golf simulation game. Justin Thomas gets the starring role as the cover athlete.

Below are the firs details and debut trailer:

Civilization VI

Publisher 2K and developer Firaxis have announced the New Frontier Pass for Civilization VI, a season pass that encompasses eight new civilizations, nine new leaders, six new game modes, and more. Players can expect new content to arrive in the form of six DLC packs delivered on a bimonthly basis between May 21, 2020 and March 2021.

Those who purchase the New Frontier Pass will receive the Teddy Roosevelt and Catherine De Medici Persona Packs as exclusive bonuses. These offer “a brand-new take on a favorite leader, with a new leader model and background, new gameplay bonuses and an updated agenda that reflects the changes to the leader’s personality.” 2K says Rough Rider Teddy “excels at keeping the peace on his home continent” whereas Magnificence Catherine “can use Luxuries to overwhelm the world with Culture and Tourism.” Both Persona Packs will be available with the second DLC Pack in July.

Earlier this week, 2K announced WWE 2K Battlegrounds. An ESRB listing now reveals that the game is coming to Switch.

2K says that WWE 2K Battlegrounds is “a completely new WWE gaming experience that will feature arcade-style action and over-the-top Superstar designs, environments and moves.” It’s being developed by Saber Interactive.

To prepare for the launch of XCOM 2 Collection on Switch in late May, 2K Games has put together a video explaining everything you need to know about the game. We’ve included it below.

XCOM 2 Collection launches for Switch on May 29.

BioShock: The Collection

2K made a few new announcements for Switch last week during the new Nintendo Direct Mini. New collections for BioShock, Borderlands, and XCOM 2 are all reaching the system in just a couple of months. It’s the first time that these titles will be appearing on a Nintendo console.

As you may know, 2K will be selling each collection both physically and digitally. But let’s say you’re only interested in BioShock 2. Or maybe you only care about the original Borderlands. If that’s the case, you’ll be happy to hear that all titles in the BioShock and Borderlands collections will be sold individually on the eShop, allowing you to pick and choose the titles you wish to purchase digitally. On top of that, you can also choose to buy BioShock: The Collection and Borderlands Legendary Collection as single packages. In other words, you can either buy any of the games individually or the full collections – whichever you prefer.

BioShock: The Collection and Borderlands Legendary Collection, along with XCOM 2 Collection, are slated for May 29.

Borderlands Legendary Collection

Turn Me Up is one of the company’s involved with bringing Borderlands Legendary Collection to Switch. Over on the studio’s website, more information is revealed about the Switch ports.

Turn Me Up states that the team “worked tireless with 2K and Gearbox to bring these ravenously requested classics to Switch in full 1080p, at 30 FPS and with no downgrading of art assets.” It also “included all the trimmings of the GOTY releases” while also making motion controls just for the new Switch collection.

XCOM 2 Collection

We know that the physical version of XCOM 2 Collection will require an extra download, as this is clearly stated on the game’s boxart. According to a listing on EB Games Canada, that download will clock in at 24GB. The final number hasn’t been officially confirmed by 2K at this time.

XCOM 2 Collection includes the main game, War of the Chosen expansion, and four DLC packs. The Resistance Warrior Pack, Anarchy’s Children, Alien Hunters, and Shen’s Last Gift are all packed in.
