Atlus posted an… interesting message on its Twitter and Facebook accounts today. Based on what was shared, it’s looking likely that we’re due for a localization announcement of Attack on Titan for 3DS soon.

Here’s what was added to Atlus’ social media pages today:

There are a couple of references to Attack on Titan here – notably the opening lyrics and one of the anime episodes.

Remember: Attack on Titan was rated in Australia a few months ago. When that listing popped up, Atlus was listed as publisher.

Update (3/27): Pre-orders open on GameStop (thanks Jake).

Pre-orders for Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight have gone live – at least at one retailer. You can currently reserve a copy over at Amazon. When other retailers begin taking pre-orders, we’ll update this post.

Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker is a pretty big game. The digital version take up 22,808 blocks, which amounts to roughly 2.78GB.

Look for Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker’s launch on May 5.

Thanks to Jake for the tip.

Atlus tends to include bonus items with first-print copies of its games. With Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight, that will once again be the case.

Here’s what’s inside the launch edition:

The Official Staff Book — 22 pages of art, including early drafts of character concepts, introductions to the characters, with both explanations of their individual back stories as well as developer insight to the character creation process, and QR Codes that will unlock some beginner-friendly Grimoire Stones.

The Fafnir Knight Rough Sketch Soundtrack — CD soundtrack of early verions of the EO2U music by series composer, Yuzo Koshiro. It also has a brief foreword by both Koshiro and EO2U director Shigeo Komori. The CD packaging also has an EO2U mini-comic!

Note that these items are only included with pre-orders and first-run printings only, as supplies will be limited. Once those copies are gone, so are the bonuses!

Atlus USA pushed out another news update about Etrian Mystery Dungeon today.

First, here’s a new trailer showing the Wanderer class:

Atlus also shared some DLC news. Between April 7 and May 5, all DLC will be free. This includes five quests with various bonuses. Starting on May 6, DLC will revert to paid.

Here’s the full rundown of DLC:

The first three DLC quests require you to find a lost adventurer in the dungeons. Once you do, they will give you recipes that unlock meals prepared by the NPC Niralda in the Amber Cafe. Players can purchase the meals for each of the party members to apply buffs that last until they leave the dungeon!

  • Find a Wanderer for me! Find the master chef Wanderer to unlock three new recipes for the Amber Restaurant! ($1.49)
  • Find a Princess for me! Find the stray Sovereign to unlock a meal fit for a king in the Amber Restaurant! ($1.99)
  • Find a Landsknecht for me! Find the adventurous Landsknecht to unlock three new recipes for the Amber Restaurant! ($1.49)

The last two DLC quests are repeatable quests that players can get from Niralda as well:

  • Know the Red Pookas? Slay a Red Pooka wandering around the dungeon to receive a Golden or White potion for extra experience! ($1.99)
  • Slay the Gold Guardian! Defeat an elusive Gold Guardian in the dungeon to receive a Nugget of Gold fragment for extra gold! ($1.49)

Lastly, an Etrian Mystery Dungeon will be available on March 31 in North America for 99 cents. Take a look at the theme below:

We’re dealing with another Twitch video, so auto-play is at hand. Head past the break for all of the footage!

Atlus has shared a bunch of information regarding SpotPass and StreetPass support in Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker. All of the details are posted below, and you can find a new round of screenshots above.

Demon summoners in Devil Survivor 2 will have some wireless advantages once the game launches. Thanks to the Nintendo 3DS system’s SpotPass and StreetPass features, players will be able to unlock and advance their demons in new ways!

SpotPass
We’ll have several waves of SpotPass content rolling out once the game launches (schedule still TBD), but the immediate advantage will be a whole ton of new demons for players to fuse. So if you were looking for your precious Tyrant Lucifer Frost or Wilder Catoblepas, they’ll be rolling out to players via SpotPass. Another bonus going out via SpotPass will be some skill add-ons. One of the hallmarks of the Devil Summoner series is cracking skills that are assigned from a communal skill pool, meaning players can’t use the same skill on more than one character. Via SpotPass, players will be able to get a helpful magic skill, a powerful normal skill, and a recommended physical skill added to their skill pool. But that’s all we’re telling you about them!
