Original (8/3): Atlus is back with a second trailer for Persona 5 Tactica, which showcases the Yoshiki Kingdom, Repaint Your Heart Challenge Pack with Goro Akechi and Kasumi Yoshizawa, and more. Currently it’s only available in Japanese, but we’ll update this post if an English equivalent comes in (update: English swapped in).

We have the following overview for the game:

Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection update 1.0.3

Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection has received a new update with all of the games moving up to version 1.0.3.

The titles in the collection have received small improvements across the board. Etrian Odyssey II and III HD have addressed soft locks while the third entry has specifically improved online stability.

Persona 5 Tactica art style

Persona 5 Tactica was recently revealed and it has its own chibi-esque art style that’s prompted some interesting fan discussion. Some of the game’s developers have now weighed in on the design.

In an interview published this week, Famitsu spoke with Persona team producer Kazuhisa Wada, director Naoya Maeda, and business producer Atsushi Nomura. They confirmed what we essentially knew in that Persona 5 Tactica isn’t a Persona Q sequel, but also discussed style differences between them. Oribe said “the 3D models are intentionally taller with the arms and legs being longer” and noted how “it may seem more like an American comic-like deformed style.”

SEGA Atlus sale Sonic Mania

SEGA and Atlus kicked off a pretty major Switch eShop sale this week with multiple titles at their lowest prices yet including Persona 5 Strikers, Sonic Mania, and more. The same also goes for Catherine: Full Body and slew of SEGA Ages titles.
