The western launch of Petit Novel series – Harvest December has been a long time coming. In Europe, the title should be out on December 10, based on a eShop listing. It’ll be sold for €11.99.

At the moment, it’s unknown when Petit Novel series – Harvest December will be available in North America. But given previous Circle Entertainment releases, the visual novel download will likely come out at around the same time as Europe.

Circle Entertainment provided an update on Witch & Hero’s sales on Twitter a few hours ago. Since launch, the game sold almost 170,000 copies worldwide.

68 percent of Witch & Hero’s sales originate from Asia, and that’s without a discount. North America and Europe appear to lag pretty far behind.

Nearly half of Witch & Hero’s North American sales came from its discount periods. Similarly, 60 percent of its sales in Europe happened while the price was slashed.

Update (7/29)

Bumped to the top. More details from Circle Entertainment:

– The game has already sold 5000 copies in North America in a “very short time”, appearing on the bestselling list.
– North American sales seem stronger than the equivalents for Japan – this is surprising as the genre and style is, from CIRCLE’s experience, typically better received in Japan.
– The response in Europe has also been “good”.
– The publisher was unable to arrange for the game to have its own promotional eShop shelf in North America, though better support has been forthcoming in Europe.
– Numbers are “encouraging”, and look on track to be better than for Adventure Bar Story.
