CoroCoro

CoroCoro has now published its own version of the new Pokemon Sun/Moon trailer from this week. It’s very familiar, though there is one very brief original scene towards the beginning which seems to show some sort of Pokemon (see the shot above).

Here’s the trailer:

CoroCoro, the Japanese magazine, will be getting a tie-in with Splatoon. Leaked images from the upcoming issue show that three new pieces of gear, all emblazoned with the CoroCoro logo, will be hitting the game. These are a Splat Roller (which has the stats of the regular Splat Roller, but comes with a Splash Wall and Inkzooka), an orange cap (with the Damage Up ability), and an orange parka (with the Cold-Blooded ability). These items will arrive in-game early in the summer. Furthermore, more weapons should arrive at the same time, as the next volume of the Sheldon’s Picks weapons.

Another tease stemming from this month’s issue of CoroCoro concerns the Pokemon movies. Apparently, something known as “Pokemon Elections” are the way. We’ll be seeing a special countdown on the official site, with more details planned for the next edition of CoroCoro. The magazine promises that it’ll be “huge”.

This month’s issue of CoroCoro sadly lacks any news on Pokemon Sun and Moon. Come next month, however, it sounds like we’ll finally have some concrete information. A teaser in the latest issue says special features for the two games will begin. It’s officially due out on April 15, though chances are that the magazine will leak a bit earlier than that.

A new Pokemon distribution for Volcanion is set to begin in Japan next month, the latest issue of CoroCoro reveals. Players can obtain the new Pokemon as the pre-booking ticket distribution for the new movie, Volcanion and The Ingenious Magearna.

Volcanion will come in at level 70 and holds a Rage Candy Bar. It’ll have the moves Steam Eruption, Overheat, Hydro Pump and Mist.

This distribution ends in Japan on July 15. However, it can be redeemed until September 30 through a serial code distributed with the movie ticket.

Information coming out of this month’s CoroCoro reveals that an anime based on Puzzle & Dragons X is in the works. The series will begin airing this summer. Along with an anime, a manga adaptation from Momota Inoue is in the works, which will debut in CoroCoro’s May issue (shipping in April).

As far as the game goes, Puzzle & Dragons X will be available in Japan this summer. Two versions are planned: “Kami no Sh?” (God Chapter) and “Ry? no Sh?” (Dragon Chapter). Puzzle & Dragons X’s theme is “evolution” and will also feature cooperative play with friends in a cross battle. The game’s protagonist is Ace and his partner Tamaz?. Staff behind the anime will also animate the game’s opening anime.

CoroCoro magazine’s next issue is publishing February 15th(Monday) in Japan and it will carry some major news. The trailer that was released for the issue shows the cover which has a dark silhouette of Magiana which is a brand new Pokemon. Hopefully this means that the magazine will have some more details to share about the new Pokemon because we know nothing about it so far.

This month’s issue of CoroCoro has started to leak. There’s nothing too major shown in the magazine (at least as far as we know), but we do have a look at Volcanion, the final Mythical Pokemon from this generation. Volcanion will be starring in the upcoming film – tentatively known as Pokemon The Movie XY & Z 2016.

Two Puzzle & Dragons games have already hit the 3DS, and it looks like a third one is in the works. This month’s issue of CoroCoro reveals that GungHo Online Entertainment is preparing a new title in the series for Nintendo’s handheld.

We don’t actually have any concrete news about the project just yet, though there’s some speculation flying around that it’s a sequel to Puzzle & Dragons Z. The only thing we have to go on currently is the cover from CoroCoro. Maybe the new Puzzle & Dragons game is something that will be touched upon during tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct?
