Activision unveiled the new Future Tense level for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy today. Get a look at some footage below.

SANTA MONICA, Calif. – June 11, 2018 – Just when you thought you mastered all the levels in Crash Bandicoot™ N. Sane Trilogy, Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATVI), is giving fans another reason to play CrashTM all summer long with the introduction of a brand-new level called “FUTURE TENSE”! On June 29, the Future Tense level will be included as a bonus in the Crash Bandicoot™ 3: Warped game of the Crash Bandicoot™ N. Sane Trilogy.

Developed by Vicarious Visions, Future Tense brings an extra layer of difficulty to Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped’s Future world, as players dodge rockets, destroy robots and leap over lasers while ascending a massive futuristic skyscraper. This brand-new level pays homage to the unreleased Waterfall level from the original Crash BandicootTM game. Soon franchise fans (and speed runners) will have something BRAND WUMPING NEW in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy that will challenge even the most skillful Crash players.

GameStop is offering a new pre-order bonus for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. If you reserve the game, you’ll be given a Micro Blocks Crash Figurine – pictured above. It will be provided on release day.

YouTube Live at E3 is returning for its usual coverage of the expo. Geoff Keighley will be hosting the proceedings, which will feature new games, demos, guests, and more. All of the fun starts later today.

One session to keep an eye on is the 5:30 PM ET slot on Monday. A reveal for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is planned with a “first look at something new”.

Activision passed along a notice regarding its plans for E3 2018. In its, there’s a small mention about Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. The press release teases: “Fans can stay tuned for additional Activision announcements, including Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy news, next week.”

There have been rumblings about possible new content for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. RBS Import Games, a company that distributes games in Brazil, mentions the “bonus phase” called “Future Tense” on an Xbox One listing for the game.

E3 2018 kicks off on June 12, and will last through June 14.

By pre-loading, you can pay in advance and download the required data. Then on launch data, you’ll only need to connect to the internet once to begin playing.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has had its listing on the Switch eShop for quite some time, but has now updated with the official file size. The digital version will require 5.2GB of free space to download.

Activision bumped up the release date for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy yesterday. Rather than July 10, the game will now arrive on June 29.

The previous release date for the Switch version of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was July 10.
