JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R Jotaro Kujo

Bandai Namco is starting to highlight the roster of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, and first up is Jotaro Kujo. The character is “armed with a bad attitude and his extremely powerful stand, Star Platinum”.

As a refresher, here’s some information about the game:

Fuga: Melodies of Steel Fantasy Costume Pack

CyberConnect2 has announced that the third piece of DLC for Fuga: Melodies of Steel, known as the Fantasy Costume Pack, is going live next week. Switch players can access it starting May 26, 2022.

Just like with previous DLC, players will be able to get their hands on alternate outfits for Malt, Mei, Hanna, Kyle, Boron, Socks, Chick, Hack, Sheena, Jin, Wappa, and Britz. These can be used during Intermission and Expedition.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles is coming to Switch this June, and it seems some DLC will be releasing around that time too. This paid DLC is slated for summer and consists of additional character packs that will make the following characters available in Versus Mode:

  • Tengen Uzui
  • Daki
  • Gyutaro
  • Nezuko Kamado in Awakened Form 
  • Tanjiro Kamado from the Entertainment District Arc
  • Zenitsu Agatsuma from the Entertainment District Arc
  • Inosuke Hashibira from the Entertainment District Arc

This was revealed in the Weekly Jump reveals, and more information will be released soon.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel Way of the Sword Costume Pack

CyberConnect2 has announced the second piece of DLC for Fuga: Melodies of Steel, which is known as the “Way of the Sword Costume Pack” and sees various characters in Japanese-themed traditional warrior clothing including samurai, ninja, and more. It features alternate looks for Malt, Mei, Hanna, Kyle, Boron, Socks, Chick, Hack, Sheena, Jin, Wappa, and Britz (available for use during Intermission and Expedition).

New gameplay has surfaced for the Switch version of .hack//G.U. Last Recode. It’s been five years since its initial debut, but the remastered trilogy just landed on the console.

Bandai Namco has uploaded a new launch trailer for the Switch edition of .hack//G.U. Last Recode, a packaging containing the Rebirth, Reminisce, Redemption, and Reconnection titles. It provides one last look at the collection.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle R

Bandai Namco has just announced JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle R, a fighting game based on the popular franchise. It will release on Switch in early fall.

Technically what we have here isn’t brand new. The nearly decade-old game first debuted on PlayStation 3 back in 2013 in Japan, followed by the west a year later. CyberConnect 2 developed the project.

Card Warriors Dragon Ball Z Kakarot Switch

It took a bit longer than expected, but Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot + A New Power Awakens Set has finally gained Card Warriors on Switch.

Bandai Namco originally put the game on Nintendo’s console last September. Card Warriors was originally planned for Switch last fall, but the extra mode was pushed back. Bandai Namco cited “an adjustment of the development schedule” for the delay.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles

The Switch version of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles, which was first announced last week, has now been confirmed for the west. North America and Europe will be getting the game on June 10, 2022.

According to SEGA, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles on Switch contains everything found on other platforms, including all the post-launch content added such as the six new playable characters – Rui, Akaza, Susamaru, Yahaba, Enmu, and Yushiro & Tamayo, new online missions that reward Kimetsu Points to unlock additional rewards, and all the balance changes made to the combat.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles has been announced for Switch with a release date of June 9, 2022. This release is for the Japanese version of the game being published by Aniplex and developed by CyberConnect2. The game was originally released on October 14, 2021 for current and last-gen consoles.

The Switch version will be priced at 7,480 yen and will receive a physical and limited edition. The limited edition will cost 11,800 yen and features additional costumes such as the Butterfly Mansion Patient and Kimetsu Academy costumes, as well as 16,000 Kimetsu Points.

All of this was announced in the Weekly Shonen Jump, no information on the western release has been given at this time.
