Even if you’ve cleared the Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire demo numerous times, you may not have experienced everything it has to offer. A secret mission has been discovered that seems to activate by chance. There aren’t any extra rewards for completing the mission, but it’s something special to try out.

According to Nintendo of Japan‘s Twitter, The Japanese demo for Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is being pulled from the eShop on October 31st. No word yet on if other regions are going to follow, but this isn’t too surprising given that the bulk of marketing for both games has already and both versions are almost widely available

Did you know that there are a bunch of different ways to secure a Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire demo code in North America?

Nintendo made a new post on its website today outlining the various methods. Among other plans, there will be promotions at cinemas and retailers. Codes will also be given out to those who purchase Pokemon Art Academy (digital), Pokemon Puzzle Challenge, or Pokemon Trading Card Game.

Here’s the full lineup of Nintendo’s distribution plans for the demo:

• Codes will be distributed at select cinema locations nationwide from Nov. 7–Nov. 13 (while supplies last).
• Check with your local retailer during the holidays to find out about special demo code giveaways (while supplies last).
• Get a code with your purchase of the new Pokémon Art Academy game (out Oct. 24) when you buy from Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo 3DS or 2DS system.
• You’ll also get a code with your purchase of one of two classic Pokémon games coming to the Virtual Console service on Nintendo eShop: the Pokémon Puzzle Challenge game (out Nov. 6) or the Pokémon Trading Card Game (out Nov. 13). You’ll find your free demo code on your eShop receipt (download codes available while supplies last).
• Codes will be emailed the week of Oct. 31 to select Nintendo customers with Nintendo Network IDs who have signed up to receive promotional emails from Nintendo.
• Codes will also be distributed during the holiday mall tour from Nov. 24?Dec. 21 at 16 different locations throughout the nation. Talk to a staff member to try out Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire or any of the featured Nintendo 3DS games to receive two codes—one for you, and one for a friend (while supplies last). Check back soon for a list of tour locations.

The official demo for Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire has gone live in Europe. It takes up 1935 blocks of space, which translates to about 250MB. North America will be getting the demo next week!

Then, use the special code in Nintendo eShop to download the Special Demo Version directly to your Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 2DS system!

The Special Demo Version features a unique adventure where you can encounter cool Pokémon, including ones that Mega Evolve! Plus, you’ll be able to bring reward items you obtained in the demo into Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.

Sign up for your Pokémon Trainer Club account and be sure that you have opted in to receive marketing email messages by October 20 to make sure you get the next newsletter. Update: Size is 728MB. Demo has 15 uses.

A Bayonetta 2 demo is now available for download from the European Wii U eShop. The news was announced through a new launch trailer published by Nintendo of Europe just a short while ago. No word yet on a demo for North America, but we’ll keep you updated.

A demo for Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal will be published on the eShop on November 4, according to SEGA. Players will be able to sample the game a week before the game hits store shelves. The full retail game is slated for November 11.

UK Pokemon fans rejoice, a demo for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be heading your way from October 15th. Demo codes for the game will be distributed from select retailers, either online or through various Nintendo Zones. At present retailers involved in this promo include GAME, Amazon, Smyth Toys Superstores, ShopTo and the Nintendo UK Official store. It’s worth noting that the demo content is a self-contained experience and will have content that is completely separate from the main game, like the ability to Mega Evolve a Pokemon and transfer it over to the main game when it drops shortly after.

Dutch fans will also get a chance to get their hands on the demo during the autumn tour on October 11th and 12th, so it looks like the promotion won’t end there!
