Dragon Ball FighterZ

The official website for Dragon Ball FighterZ has been updated, providing fresh info on the upcoming DLC character Android 17 (credit to Gematsu for the translation).

A speed-specialized in-fighter who always moves on the frontlines with his overwhelming speed and overpowers his opponent. He will turn the tables on anyone that stands against him with his “Super Electric Strike!”

Dragon Ball FighterZ will be released on Nintendo Switch next week, though we don’t know yet when Android 17 will be available for Switch users.

According to the latest issue of V-Jump, Android 17 is joining Dragon Ball FighterZ. The Japanese magazine reveals the character as a new fighter.

Android 17 will feature the following special moves:

Bandai Namco is offering a neat pre-order bonus with pre-orders of Dragon Ball FighterZ on Switch. By reserving the game, you’ll receive access to Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden, which originally appeared on Super Famicom.

There is just one thing you should be aware of. While in the past some pre-order bonuses have been offered to fans at a later date for purchase, it sounds like this won’t be happening with Super Butoden.

Dragon Ball FighterZ

Dragon Ball FighterZ was originally announced at last year’s E3. Almost immediately, fans started to ask why there wasn’t a Switch version, and began requesting a port. Those requests will finally be fulfilled when Dragon Ball FighterZ arrives on Switch later this month.

Ahead of the release, Switch Player caught up with the developers to chat about the game. The interview started out with the team being asked about why the Switch edition didn’t appear at the same time as the PS4 and Xbox One versions:
