UK Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE website open

Nintendo of Europe has launched a special microsite for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE on its various websites; you can find the English one here.
There’s no spectacular new info to be found there, but it does offer a nice overview of the game. The site details the game’s story, characters, various gameplay mechanics and DLC. There’s also a screenshot gallery, showing off a bit more of the English localization.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE will be released in Europe and North America on June 24th.

My Nintendo promises new rewards for Europe on May 16

My Nintendo will soon be updated with a new round of rewards. In a newsletter sent out by Nintendo of Europe, there’s a mention of an additional selection is coming on May 16. We’ll let you know what those are on Monday.

A few new themes are now available in Europe. The lineup includes Pokemon, Shovel Knight, and Star Fox.

Update: Available now! – Exclusive Bravely Second theme to be added as a My Nintendo reward in Europe

Update: The theme is now available and trying to redeem points for it no longer produces an error.
A new reward is about to be added for users of My Nintendo in Europe: a Bravely Second Nintendo 3DS home menu theme titled “New Faces”. The theme costs 100 Platinum Points – quite a bit cheaper than the Mario and Donkey Kong 3DS home menu themes, which cost 200 Platinum Points.
However, it seems like the reward may have been added to the rewards catalogue prematurely – you can only reach it via the notifications tab in the top right; it doesn’t actually show up in the regular rewards tab at the moment. Trying to redeem your Platinum Points for the Bravely Second theme produces an error at the moment. The theme will apparently be available until June 30th, so it likely won’t be too long until it can be properly redeemed.

European Fire Emblem Fates DLC pricing

The European Fire Emblem Fates website has been updated with DLC pricing information for Europe. Players will be able to purchase Map Pack 1 for £16.19 / €17.99 to access 11 new maps along with 10,000 in-game gold. If purchased separately, the maps would cost £22.70 / €24.90.
Here’s the pricing information for individual maps.
- Before Awakening – Beyond the gate to another world lies the Halidom of Ylisse. (20th May, free)

1 million packs of Animal Crossing amiibo cards have been sold in Europe

The Animal Crossing UK Twitter account announced today that a total 1 million packs of the Animal Crossing amiibo cards have been sold in Europe. In Europe, each pack contains only three cards, meaning 3 million individual cards have been sold. At Nintendo’s recent financial results briefing for the past fiscal year, it was revealed that worldwide sales of amiibo cards were at 28.9 million individual cards.
