It’s time for the latest Famitsu‘s most wanted games chart! Monster Hunter XX leaps into the top three while Zelda: Breath of the Wild is back in the top ten.

SEGA 3D Fukkoku Archives 3: Final Stage shipped in Japan this week. To mark the game’s launch, Famitsu caught up with developers Yosuke Okunari and Kagasei Shimomura for an interview.

During the short discussion, Okunari and Shimomura explain how they settled on the games to include for the latest collection. The two also commented on the additions of Alien Syndrome and Columns as well as why the two bonus games were chosen. If that wasn’t enough, Shimomura left the door open to returning to SEGA 3D Classics in the future.

    It’s time for the latest Famitsu‘s most wanted games chart! Dragon Quest XI and Monster Hunter XX make up the top five, while other games like Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Snack World are also on the list.

    Future Card Buddyfight: Mezase! Buddy Champion! is in development for 3DS, the latest issue of Famitsu confirms. The project once again comes from Japanese company FuRyu.

    This title will be the second game adaptation of the popular trading card game. Famitsu notes that it will have characters appearing from the newest anime series, and will adopt the latest TCG rules. More cards are planned as well.

    Future Card Buddyfight: Mezase! Buddy Champion! launches in Japan on March 17 for 5,940 yen. The physical version will have bonus Super Special Glittering Cards.

    With 2016 wrapping up, Famitsu caught up with a number of Japanese developers to to respond to certain expectations for the new year. In terms of what was Nintendo-related, we have some comments regarding Shin Megami Tensei, Dragon Quest XI, The Great Ace Attorney 2, and The Snack World.
