Fate/Extella Link

Fate/Extella Link has already been confirmed for Switch in North America and Japan. Today, Marvelous announced plans for the European release.

Like in other regions, Fate/Extella Link is coming to Switch in Q1 2019. Marvelous has also unveiled two special editions: the Emperor of Paladins Edition and Joyeuse Edition.

The Joyeuse Edition contains the game, a soundtrack CD, a pack of 10 collectible 7.6cm by 12.7cm cards depicting each of the new Servants, a 43.1cm by 60.9cm cloth poster, and a 7.6cm by 11.4cm. The Emperor of Paladins Edition has the same items as well as a set of ‘Holy Tile of the Moon’ Mahjong tiles featuring characters from the Fate/Extella franchise.

XSEED announced this week that Fate/Extella Link is coming to North America in Q1 2019. Better yet, it’ll be accompanied by a special release. Amazon is taking pre-orders for the Fleeting Glory Limited Edition here.

The limited edition comes with a few extra goodies. Fans will be given the game, a soundtrack CD, a pack of 10 collectible cards depicting each of the new Servants, a cloth poster, and an acrylic diorama all housed in a custom box.

If limited editions aren’t your thing, you can also pre-order a standard copy of Fate/Extella Link on Switch here.

Earlier this month, Marvelous announced that it will be bringing Fate/Extella Link to Switch in Japan. XSEED has now followed up with news confirming that it will be released in North America.

XSEED will be offering a premium Fleeting Glory Edition, which includes a soundtrack CD, a pack of 10 collectible 3” by 5” cards depicting each of the new Servants, a 17” by 24” cloth poster, and a 3” by 4.5” acrylic diorama featuring the Servants Nero, Drake, and Scáthach, all housed in a custom box. It’ll cost $79.99.

A special Fate/Extella collection was announced for Switch, where “the characters from Fate/stay night, Fate/Apocrypha, Fate/Grand Order, and other Fate continuities are making their own appearances.” You can pre-order either the Japanese or Asian version, though the title supports the English language as well as Japanese and Chinese. It releases on December 20. Find more information on its Play-Asia pre-order page.

Following up on last week’s official reveal of Fate/Extella Link for Switch in Japan, Marvelous has shared a new trailer for the title showcasing Funifuni costumes for multiple fan-favorite characters.

At this time, the chibi-like Funifuni skins will be available for characters Nero, Tamamo no Mae, and Altera. Witness the characters in all their glory in the trailer below.
